2008 Chevrolet Impala Rental Added in New York

Police Car Rental has added this 2008 Chevrolet Impala to its roster through the USA Movie Cars network. The vehicle sits in Woodside, New York, giving crews working across the New York area a ready option for productions that need an unmarked NYPD-style sedan. Producers can reach the listing directly on the copcarrental.com site or contact USA Movie Cars to arrange a rental for film, television, or commercial work.

Spotlight on this 2008 Chevrolet Impala

This 2008 Chevrolet Impala carries the 9C3 package and was previously used as an unmarked NYPD RMP. It shows more than 50,000 miles and retains the original equipment radio, automatic daytime running lights, and fog light setting. The car is tinted at 20 percent visibility in front and 5 percent around the rest of the glass, which helps control reflections during shoots.

Additional details include a rugged floor, strobe light mounts ready for added police lighting, and a small center console suited for holding coffee or small supplies. Optional New York Empire Blue plates match the vehicle’s era, while Empire Gold plates can portray the car from 2012 to 2016. An EZ-PASS orange cover is available for emergency-vehicle prop use, and optional front, interior, and rear dash cams can record time and speed data without watermarks. The owner plans to add an optional lighting package soon.

Police Car Rental and the New York Picture Car Market

Police Car Rental works with USA Movie Cars to connect productions with local vehicles in New York. USA Movie Cars maintains partnerships with state-level picture car sites, including New York Picture Cars, so crews searching for New York picture car rental options or New York movie car resources can locate nearby assets without extra travel. The Woodside location places this Impala within a short drive of many New York City and Long Island shoots.

New York film car needs often center on contemporary unmarked sedans that can pass for active duty or background fleet vehicles. This Impala fills that slot while staying within the state network that USA Movie Cars supports. Productions filming in New York can therefore move between Police Car Rental listings and other state partners through a single point of contact.

More About This Woodside New York 2008 Chevrolet Impala

Woodside sits in a dense production zone where crews frequently need vehicles that read as current New York City police or government fleet cars. The Impala’s 2006–2016 generation body style still appears on streets today, so it supports scenes set from the mid-2000s forward without visual dating issues. Its unmarked appearance lets directors use it as a detective unit, a supervisor car, or simply a civilian sedan that blends into city traffic.

The 9C3 package and retained original equipment parts keep the car accurate for timeline work while the tint and console give practical advantages on set. Crews can add lights through the existing mounts or use the dash cams to capture in-car footage that matches real NYPD recordings. Because the vehicle travels up to 100 miles, it can reach shoots in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, or nearby suburbs without requiring extra transport arrangements.

New York Picture Car Rental Uses

Producers can place this Impala in establishing shots of New York streets where an unmarked sedan helps set the location without drawing attention. It works equally well as a character vehicle for detectives, plainclothes officers, or city employees in modern scripts. Background texture shots benefit from the car’s authentic NYPD history and current-era plates.

Commercial and music video teams often need vehicles that feel local and functional. The Impala’s size and color options allow it to sit in parking shots, drive-bys, or staged traffic scenes. Still photographers can use the tinted windows and interior details for product or fashion work that requires a New York police or government backdrop. Event and branded content productions can station the car as a prop or photo opportunity when the script calls for law-enforcement presence.
